End of Day 3; Soulier Leads Buchanan Heads-Up
Shawn Buchanan started heads-up play with a 2:1 chip lead of 4.8 million to Fabrice Soulier’s 2.4 million. Soulier quickly took the chip lead in the Omaha 8 round after making a wheel to scoop a big pot and take the lead with 5 million to Buchanan’s 2.2 million.
Soulier went on to widen the gap a bit in the following Razz and Seven Card Stud portions, ultimately amassing 10:1 chip lead of 6.5 million to Buchanan’s 650,000. Buchanan doubled back in the Stud 8 round and then again in the the Hold’em portion, but still ended the night on the short stack with under one million.
