The third and final day 1 starting flight of the Card Player Poker Tour main event drew a massive field of 241 entries, which when added to the 261 players from day 1a and 1b, has assured that the $400,000 guarantee will be crushed when all is said and done.
Of course, the prize pool has yet to be finalized, because players can still take advantage of this event’s quantum reload option, which allows players to buy-in in on day 2 for an increased price of $4,300. In exchange, they’ll receive an average stack of 120,000, or 60 big blinds.
There are a total of 124 players who have advanced to day 2. Leading the way is Andrew Wisdom, who bagged up with a whopping 359,500. Wisdom found himself very short stacked early in the day, but turned things around when he picked off a big bluff for his tournament life against WSOP bracelet winner Upeshka De Silva.
Other notables who survived to day 2 include Owen Crowe, Kevin Song, Nipun Java, Men Nguyen, Kelly Minkin, Sean Jazayeri, Daniel Strelitz, Chris Grigorian, Chris DeMaci, and Melanie Weisner.
Be sure to check back in the coming days for more action from the Bicycle Hotel & Casino as the field plays down to a winner, with the final table being streamed on Live At The Bike! this Wednesday.

Owen Crowe raised to 5,000 from under the gun and was called by one player in middle position. The action folded around to the big blind, and she moved all in for about 70,000.
Crowe took about a minute before deciding he was also all-in, and the other player folded. Crowe showed 1010, and he was behind against his opponent’s KK.
The board ran out A10346, however, and Crowe’s set was enough to bust a player and increase his stack to 173,000.
There are just 67 players remaining in today’s day 1c flight. Only the top 60 will advance to day 2.
It wasn’t a huge pot, but we are one player closer to bagging for the night thanks to Men Nguyen, whose 77 held up against a short stack’s 103.
The board fell 94269 and Nguyen scooped the pot, bringing his stack to 108,000.
Blinds have risen to 1,200-2,400 with an ante of 400 fore level 14.
With 81 players remaining in the field there are now only nine tables in action for day 1C of the 2017 CPPT Bicycle Hotel & Casino main event.
Joey Weissman got all-in preflop with the AK up against Owen Crowe’s 88.
The board ran out J96102 and Weissman was eliminated late on day 1C.
Crowe chipped up to over 150,000 after the hand.
Blinds are up to 1,000-2,000 with an ante of 300 for level 13.
Players are now on a ten-minute break following the completion of level 12.
William Fagerbakke is a comedic actor, known for his roles of Dauber Dybinski from the show ‘Coach’, Patrick Star from ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ and Marvin Eriksen Sr. from ‘How I Met Your Mother’.
