One Bracelet Winner Down, Three RemainAug 02, '14 We missed the action, but Dung Nguyen is no longer at his seat in the tournament. The field is down one less WSOP bracelet winner with the exit of Nguyen, but there are still three remaining. Jim Willerson, Chris Tryba and TJ Cloutier are all still alive in the field. There are eight bracelets between the three of them, with six belonging to Cloutier. Andy Hwang and Tommy Vedes are also still alive in the event and both have WPT titles to their name. Nguyen called and they saw a flop of 862 and Flores continued with a bet of 15,000. Nguyen called and the turn was the 4. Flores moved all in for 26,000 and after a few moments in the tank, Nguyen called. Flores tabled KK and was up against Nguyen’s JJ. “No jack,” said Flores before the dealer dealt the river. Gomer Nguyen Takes The Chip LeadAug 03, '12 Everything is going right for Dung “Gomer” Nguyen today. The 2012 WSOP bracelet winner is now the chip leader after taking out yet another player. The player in the small blind bet what looked like 4,000 on a flop of 8 5 5 and got a call from a player in middle position, as well as Nguyen on the button. The turn was the 7 and the small blind moved all in for his last 10,200. The middle position player folded and Nguyen went into the tank. He didn’t like putting the chips in the middle, but he did it anyway, tabling K 8. His opponent revealed A K for the nut flush draw, but couldn’t beat Nguyen’s two pair when the K hit the river.
