Broadcast dates for the Ladbrokespoker.com Poker Million have been announced. The series kicks off with a celebrity qualifier featuring Football AM's Helen Chamberlain, darts' Phil Taylor, snooker's Mat Stevens, promoter Barry Hearn, actor Michael Greco, and athlete John Regis on Tuesday, May 10 on Sky Sports 1.
Twelve heats and two semifinals follow on consecutive Tuesdays throughout the summer at 9 p.m. The "live"
final will be broadcast on Friday, Aug. 19, and all programmes are on Sky Sports. Phil Marshall, the show's producer, told Card Player Europe: "So far, the action has been very exciting, with several surprise packages giving us some exciting TV. Ultimately, we have ended up with a fantastic final lineup for the million dollar showdown, and we are very much looking forward to it."
