If you have a Las Vegas poker expedition planned for this summer, listen up. Even though last summer was chock-full of tournaments for just about anyone's budget, amazingly, the biggest poker rooms in town are offering even more tournament choices for you in 2008.

Caesars Palace just announced that it is running its first-ever Mega Stack Series from June 1 through July 9, and it features deep starting stacks and 50-minute blinds levels. The Series includes a whopping 38 preliminary events (most are no-limit hold'em) with buy-ins from $200 to $500, culminating with a $1,000 buy-in no-limit hold'em championship event that begins on July 7. For this event, players will start with 25,000 in chips and the blinds levels will be 60 minutes.

After drawing huge numbers last summer, The Venetian will bring back the third rendition of its Deep-Stack Extravaganza, May 29 through July 16. The event buy-ins range from $330 to $1,060 for a no-limit hold'em event that will take place every Sunday during the tournament. The series will culminate with a four-day $5,000 no-limit hold'em championship event. Players will get lots of chips for their money: The $330 events start with 6,000, the $540 and $1,060 events provide 10,000, and the $2,500 and $5,000 events start with 15,000.

For those players who want a shot at TV time, the Bellagio Cup IV is coming with eight events, July 2-11. The tournament culminates with a $15,000 World Poker Tour event. Bellagio will run daily $1,500 satellites for the main event, July 8-12.

Of course, if this isn't enough to keep you busy, there are 55 World Series of Poker events from May 30 to July 15.
