EMOP Barcelona featured 24 Victor Chandler Poker qualifiers all eager and excited to make a deep run at the fifth stop on this season’s tour. Unfortunately, for most of the qualifiers it was disappointment on the felt but some player’s got a spin for their money. Rob Okell turned in his second 18th finish (€5,010) in as many EMOP’s following the exact same finish at the previous stop in Dublin. The Chester native is proving quite a force in recent months having also final tabled a TV tournament in the UK.

Having steered his way to back-to-back money finishes at this year’s EMOP tour in the VC colours, Okell is sure to be at the forefront of the VC Leaderboard heading into the final stop of the tour, Riga, Latvia from November 17 to 20, 2011.

The Victor Chandler leader board ,which sees the top six Victor Chandler players from this season’s EMOP rewarded, is one of the main attractions when you qualify with the site. All qualifiers who place in the top six positions for this season will receive at least one EMOP package for next season with the eventual winner receiving three full packages for some of next season’s events.

Of course the players couldn’t have done it without the support of Team Victor Chandler Poker captain Roy Brindley who has looked after players throughout this season. His words of encouragement were only topped by his credit card bill at the Gran Casino bar!
With the final leg of the EMOP tour upon us eyes are already turning to season four and Victor Chandler Poker will be at the forefront of the charge to land a winner. ♠
