Brazil has slowly become a poker powerhouse over the last couple of decades, with numerous players from the massive South American nation of over 200 million people having also done well at the World Series of Poker. As a result, Brazil is currently ranked eighth on the all-time bracelet leaderboard with 26 victories at the series.

Leading the way is Yuri Dzivielevski with five bracelets. He secured the latest in the early weeks of the 2024 WSOP, earning $215,982 for the win. The score grew his recorded tournament earnings to nearly $7.7 million, which makes him Brazil’s leading tournament earner in addition to its top bracelet winner.

Dzivielevski’s largest live scores have come in two runner-up finishes. He earned $895,614 for placing second in the 2022 $50,000 Poker Players Championship and added another $749,073 as the runner-up in a $30,000 event at the Triton Mediterranean Poker Party that same fall.

Bruno Volkmann sits in second place on this leaderboard with nearly $5.5 million in recorded scores. Most of his top paydays have come in high-stakes live no-limit events. The largest saw him take home $1,080,000 as the runner-up in the 2023 Triton London $60,000 event. He has accrued nearly $3.2 million across 10 in-the-money finishes in Triton events.

Rounding out the top three is Felipe Ramos with more than $3.9 million in career earnings. Ramos has twice come within one spot of earning his first bracelet, falling just short in the 2023 WSOP Online $1,000 double stack and the 2023 $5,000 freezeout in Las Vegas. Ramos holds a slight lead over bracelet winners Alexandre Gomes and Andre Akkari, who round out the top five. ♠
