I love Doyles Blogs, he is my favorite poker blogger.

I agree with most of what he says and that is the case with his most recent blog.

As Doyle says, our country is indeed in a lot of trouble economically and there is only one way we can pay off all the debts we have accrued over the years….print more money. This will make the dollar worth less and less until eventually it is worthless. This, however, is not only a problem for the dollar, but all fiat money. A government that can print money is like a woman with a credit card that she never sees the statement for, out of control. That is why I have said in the past, and will say it again, don’t keep your assets in dollars, pounds, euros, yen, none of them, they will all lose there value.

I disagree with Doyle about this Arizona law though.

I don’t like a law that gives any “yahoo” with a badge the right to walk up and demand to see your papers. The very people that are happiest about this should ideologically be the most opposed. All these Tea party people protesting big government with signs depicting Obama with a Hitler mustache should be flocking to Arizona to rally against this. This is government intrusion to an extreme and in fact does bear some semblance to what happened in Germany. It is not just illegals that are subject to this law, it is every US citizen as well. Granted in this case they are only meant to target people with at least a nice tan and brown eyes, but I still don’t like it. Illegal immigration may be a problem but there have to be better way’s to address it. If you catch someone in this country illegally committing a real crime than by all means do whatever you need to, brand them for all I care, but don’t take away peoples rights to walk the streets without being subjected to police interrogation based on there race or any other reason.
