Well, I guess I should get back to the grind. Just when I finally started to relax after playing almost 1 million hands over November and December, I find myself in a dreadful place to be in when chasing SuperNova Elite. Behind pace! I'm not behind by much, but needless to say, it's not how I want to start the year off. Especially since I'm going to be travelling for two weeks in February. If I could give one piece of advice for somebody who seriously wanted to grind SNE- it's get a good a head start and stay on or better yet get ahead of pace!
Anyway, I desperately need to make a plan to get on the right track with poker for January, so I thought I would share it:
VPP's accumulated: 16,300
January VPP goal: 100,000
Days alloted to play: 19
VPPs needed per day: 4,400
So, if I gave myself 19 days of playing this month, I would need to average about 4,400 a day in order to earn 83,700. On average, playing 200NL FR, I've been getting about 500vpps an hour. So it looks like on the days I need to play, I'm looking at about 9 hours which should be about 15,000 hands. It should be totally achievable, but I have to admit, I've lost my momentum and I'm having a problem getting it back. Hopefully a couple days with some decent volume will help...
How's your SNE chase going so far?
