The online pro recently lost a pot worth about $100,000 to a gut-shot straight draw on the river. It happened again this past Friday.

Sulsky and unknown Italian luckexpress10 sat down at the virtual felt for some $200-$400 pot-limit Omaha action on Full Tilt Poker. The session did not go Sulsky’s way, as he lost a few six-figure pots.

The Action:

The confrontation started when Sulsky raised to $1,200 from the button. Luckexpress10 three-bet to $2,400, and Sulsky four-bet to $7,200. Luckexpress10 five-bet to $21,600, and Sulsky called. The flop came QDiamond Suit 8Heart Suit 3Spade Suit.

Luckexpress10 went all in for $33,794, and Sulsky called with his set. According to Card Player’s Omaha odds calculator, Sulsky wins about 90 percent of the time on the flop.

The 4Club Suit fell on the turn, giving luckexpress10 a gut-shot straight draw. Disaster struck on the river for Sulsky, as the 5Heart Suit pealed off the virtual deck. Luckexpress10 came from behind to win the $110,788 pot.
