Harrah's made several announcements today concerning its World Series of Poker franchise, including a pay-per-view package of the final table broadcast, a contract extension with ESPN and naming the official beer of the series.

The new contract with ESPN also means that the WSOP will be broadcast on "the Worldwide leader" until at least 2010. ESPN has been the official broadcast partner of the WSOP since 1993.

ESPN will also offer poker fans live broadcast of the final table of the main event via a $24.95 pay-per-view package. The final table scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 10, and continue until the new world champion is crowned. The package is available through cable providers or can be viewed on ESPN's web page.

Milwaukee's Best Light was named "Presenting Sponsor and Official Beer" of the WSOP. That means officially the name of ESPN's broadcast of the WSOP is the "World Series of Poker Presented by Milwaukee's Best Light."

The beer company will sponsor several in-show features, including the camera that reveals player's hole cards.
