The PokerStars.com Italian Poker Tour Malta got underway yesterday on the Mediterranean island.
Day 1A of the €2,000 + €200 main event at Casino Hilton, Portomaso attracted 139 players.
Sixty-five players made it through to day 2 and the chip leader at the end of play was Sergio Castelluccio with 159,000 in chips.
