Poker After Dark Extended Through 2014 on NBC

New Season Debuts in January 2011

POKER PROductions has announced that they have reached an agreement with NBC Universal to continue Poker After Dark through the year 2014.

The seventh season of the popular late-night poker program recently wrapped up filming at the Aria Resort and Casino in City Center and will be airing on NBC starting the week of Jan. 3, 2011.

The season will run for 13 weeks and will be comprised of top professionals competing in a variety of different formats including both tournaments and cash games. Two cash games will have a minimum buy-in of $100,000 and a third will require at least $150,000. Two weeks of the show’s run will also be devoted entirely to pot-limit Omaha.

Leeann Tweeden is back to serve as the host of the show and Ali Nejad will continue to provide commentary. Nejad will be joined in the booth by a special guest commentator for all of the pot-limit Omaha episodes.

The first episode of the season will feature a $100,000 buy-in freezeout with a line up of John Juanda, Huck Seed, Phil Ivey, Erick Lindgren, Tom Dwan and Phil Galfond. Check out some of the other players who will be making appearances this season below.
