Asia Pacific Poker Tour -- Sydney Grand Final Begins Tuesday

Season Four of the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Will Come to a Close in Australia

Joe HachemSeason four of the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour will come to a close this week when action begins in the APPT Sydney Grand Final $6,300 AUD no-limit hold’em main event on Tuesday, December 7. The tournament will take place at the Star City Casino and the final table will crown a champion on Sunday, Dec. 12.

Last year, the event attracted 396 players and the champion was Aaron Benton who took home $500,348 USD in prize money. Many top professionals are confirmed for the event, including Team PokerStars pro members Joe Hachem and Daniel Negreanu. Australian players have won this event in each of its previous years, with Aussies Grant Levy, Martin Rowe, and Benton rounding out the list of former champions.
