The World Poker Tour’s own Melanie Iglesias has been named the 2010 winner of Maxim Magazine’s “Hometown Hotties” national model search. Iglesias is a member of the WPT’s Royal Flush Girls, a group of models who serve as the tour’s event ambassadors.
Iglesias beat out thousands of contestants for the title and will appear in an upcoming issue of the magazine. Until then, you can view her pictorial online.
“I was so excited and shocked when Maxim called to tell me. What an amazing honor!” said Melanie. “First, I get picked to be a Royal Flush Girl, then I’m fortunate enough to win this great contest. It’s been an unbelievable year.”
In addition to her modeling duties, Iglesias is also an aspring songwriter and musician.
Melanie and the rest of the Royal Flush Girls will make their next stop at the Southern Poker Championship in Biloxi, Mississippi in late January for the $10,000 televised main event.
