Credit: UBThe UB Online Championship (UBOC) is back. The series, which will run from Jan. 16-30, will feature $5 million in prize money across 29 events.

UBOC6 is designed for players of all bankrolls levels, offering games such as no-limit hold’em, H.O.R.S.E, pot-limit Omaha, eight-game mix, four-max, six-max, and heads-up.

UBOC6 will feature nine new events to the schedule, and the series will culminate with the UBOC Championship Monster Stack $1,000+$50 buy-in on Jan. 30, with a $1 million guarantee. A $2,000+$100 buy-in high roller event, with a $750,000 guarantee, is also featured on the schedule.

“Not too long after those New Year’s hangovers wear off, get back on UB because it’s time for UBOC6! The UBOC’s are my favorite online tournament series because they just keep getting bigger and bigger every time out,” Team UB’s Joe Sebok said in a press release. “Now, if I can just figure out how to win an event, the excitement will be complete.”

There will also be a Mini-UBOC running to give players with more modest bankrolls a chance to compete. The Mini-UBOC series will mirror all 29 UBOC events at a fraction of the buy-ins.

Team UB Pro and Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian will return to host the popular Rock Star Bounty event on Jan.17.

The UBOC King of Cashing Challenge and the parallel Mini-UBOC King of Cashing Challenge will reward players who are consistent across the entire series. A player needs to record the most UBOC cashes to win tournament dollars and a 2011 UBOC championship wristwatch.
