Borgata Winter Open 2011 Schedule is Set$3,300 Buy-in Championship Has a $2 Million Guaranteed Prize Pool |

The sixth annual Borgata Winter Poker Open will kick off in Atlantic City on January 19 and run through February 4. A total of 26 events are scheduled with buy-ins as low as $170. But all eyes will be on the $3,300 buy-in no limit hold’em championship event running January 30-February 4. The event features two start dates and a guaranteed prize pool of $2 million.
Last year’s Borgata Winter Poker Open series drew in more than 13,600 players and paid out over $8 million throughout the events. The championship had a field of 766 players, and Jeff Madsen pulled off the win for $625,006.
This year’s tournaments will be played in a variety of games, such as no limit hold’em, limit hold’em, Omaha H/L, Pot Limit Omaha High, 7 Card Stud and H.O.S.E.
No limit hold’em will be played in alternative formats including deep stack, heads up, 6-max, ladies only and a seniors event.
