Miikka AnttonenMiikka “Interpol” Anttonen has won the €2,850 + €150 buy in Helsinki Freezeout poker tournament at the Grand Casino, Helsinki taking down €76,000 for his victory over 78 opponents including beating Jani Vilmunen heads up.

“At the final table here were 3 to 5 better poker players than myself,” he told Card Player Finland. "The game was very tough indeed and the final result could have been to anyone’s favour. I was plain lucky.

“Jani is a million times better player than me. The high blinds at the end worked in my favour. If the stacks had been higher, that could have killed me. Big blinds and the overall structure were on my side this time.

1. Miikka Anttonen — €76,326

2. Jani Vilmunen — €48,183

3. Juha Lauttamus — €32,872

5. Jami Juutilainen — €15,536

6. Iikka Kaasalainen — €11,258
7. Ville Mattila — €7,881

8. Iiro Laukkanen — €6,080

9. Jari Saviaho — €4,954
