Jamie Flynn became the PaddyPowerPoker.com Student Masters champion at the weekend after topping a 127-strong field in Dublin’s Jackpot Card Club.
The 18-year-old, University of Limerick student took home €3,000 from a €12,000 prize pool. He also received a seat in the upcoming Irish Open. The seat, worth €3,500, was added to the prize pool by PaddyPowerPoker.com.
Flynn’s final opponent in the €100 + €10 student event was Gary Clarke. Clarke received €2,400 for his runner-up finish, while John Allan walked away in third place with €1,800. 12 players made the money.
