|
Full Tilt Poker has entered into a partnership with Fertitta Interactive, an entity established and co-owned by Station Casinos’ founders. Contrary to previous unsubstantiated reports circulating the web, the deal is not with Station Casinos.
Full Tilt Poker’s new relationship with a Nevada gaming entity comes less than one week after PokerStars partnered with Wynn Resorts, which would create PokerStarsWynn.com if internet poker becomes authorized.
Also last week, the Nevada Gaming Commission unanimously approved the suitability of a relationship between Caesars Entertainment, owner of the World Series of Poker brand, with subsidiaries of 888 Holdings LLC.
The three major moves this month come amidst an effort to make poker legalized and regulated within the state of Nevada. Assembly Bill 258, alongside the recent strategic partnerships between brick-and-mortars and online operators, could reduce the $3.4 billion loss suffered by Nevada casinos in 2010.
