Minnesota-Based World Poker Store Splits Stock

Store Is Looking to Expand Through Franchising

The World Poker Store, a retail chain with five stores in Minnesota, announced it completed a 4-for-1 forward stock split. This means every share is now split into four. The split was effective June 26, and the payment date is June 28.

The World Poker Store, Inc., features premium poker merchandise including a large selection of casino quality poker chips, Texas hold'em tables, cards, DVDs, poker apparel, and "pro tour" collectibles available both in the retail stores and online.

Its executive offices are located in St. Paul, Minn., and the company has franchising opportunities available.

The World Poker Store, Inc. has the additional revenue stream of its "Bar Poker League," through which the company operates more than 100 weekly hold'em tournaments in bars and restaurants in Minnesota. It also organizes corporate parties and fund-raisers.
