Beginning May 3, online poker players, including those based in the United States, will be able to see their opponents while playing real money cash games online. By introducing WebCam Poker, Pokerview is gearing up to forever remove the major drawback of classical online play.

On Pokerview, a site fully licensed and regulated, players face off on tables where they are represented by webcams. All tables are monitored to ensure that players remain visible throughout game play. For players who don’t have access to a web camera, Pokerview offers one for free. For players who don’t yet feel up to playing face-to-face with their opponents, standard avatar tables are also available.

Pokerview has been developing its WebCam Poker technology in the hope of satisfying a growing population of online poker players that are seeking a more stimulating and social gaming experience. Michael Dunsberg, marketing director of PokerView.com stated: “Players are knocking on our doors eager to experience the ability to play live poker online. Beating the game is just so much more exiting when you have faces to go with the players.”
