Coral Poker is rumoured to be moving from the Ongame network to iPoker according to an analysts report published today.
Daniel Stewart & Co said in its morning note that, “We believe a software agreement between Gala Coral and PTEC [Playtech] is imminent but is yet to be publicly announced. Coral’s online business has been struggling of late and the agreement to migrate all of its online offering across to the PTEC platform would not only be a positive move for Coral but in our view further boos PTEC position in the UK market and reiterate its position as the premium B2B provider in the market.
Playtech recently received permission from is partner William Hill to seek other UK land-based partners if it so wished.
The deal with Coral is estimated to be worth €5 million in terms of earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation to Playtech.
