Carlos Lopes Tops 513-Strong Field At Belgian Poker Championship

Out of the 513 players who turned out for the Belgian Poker Championship it was Carlos Lopes who was left standing when the dust settled. The cap was 500 but the popular event managed to squeeze in 13 alternates as players hit the rail in early levels.

Lopes received €35,000 for beating fellow Frenchman Maxime Durville, this was €17,000 less than the prize set aside for first place as Lopes had negotiated a deal sixhanded.
