On Thursday, the Bicycle Casino will kick off their annual World Poker Tour Legends of Poker main event. The 20-event series has been running since late July and has awarded millions in prize money.

The $3,500 main event is the first televised stop on season 10 of the WPT, and tournament officials are expecting an estimated prize pool of $3 million, thanks to the lowered buy in and two re-entry days. Players who are eliminated on day 1A may buy-in to day 1B.

In addition to it’s televised coverage on Fox Sports Net, the Bike will be webcasting the main event on LiveattheBike.com.

Last year’s champion Andy Frankenberger defeated Kyle Wilson and a field of 462 to earn a $750,000 payday. The win sparked a nice run for Frankenberger, who went on to become the season 9 WPT Player of the Year.

Last November, the Bike signed a five-year extension with the WPT that will see the series remain a tour stop through 2015. Card Player will be providing daily recaps from the event through the final table on Tuesday.
