Andreas Hagen now joins the list of season III European Masters of Poker champions. The Norwegian beat 454 opponents at the latest stop, Barcelona’s Gran Casino, and took home €90,310 for first place.
A deal was made heads up which saw Hagen take €80,310, Robin Appell receive €70,310, and the two play for the remaining €10,000. Fifteen minutes later, the €1,100 buy-in main event was over. In the ultimate hand, Hagen bet 400,000 and Appell moved all in. Hagen made the call with pocket sevens and Appell revealed K-6. The board came A-5-2-5-7 ensuring Hagen cleaned up with a full house.

The next stop on the tour is the Royal Casino Spa & Hotel Resort in Riga, Latvia. This will be the final stop and will play out from Nov. 17 to 20.
