A total of 228 players put up the $5,000 buy-in to enter the Bellagio’s annual Festa al Lago Main Event this year and after battling it out for four days, it was Justin Young who came out on top.
Young has been particularly dominant at the Bellagio, a property that accounts for nearly $2.2 million of his lifetime earnings, or roughly 66 percent of his winnings. This time around, Young pocketed $349,590 after defeating a final table that included Justin Filtz (ninth), Chris DeMaci (sixth), Tom McCormick (fifth), Michael Katz (fourth) and eventual heads-up opponent Sameer Aljanedi (second).
There were 26 players in total who made the money, nabbing at least $7,562 for their efforts out of the $1,105,800 prize pool.
