Las Vegas-based Shuffle Master and Internet gaming software provider OpenBet announced Wednesday their entry into an agreement that allows OpenBet to provide web versions of some of Shuffle Master’s licensed games to Canada’s online gaming sites, including Loto-Québec and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.

Shuffle Master is a global gaming supplier which produces automatic card shufflers, slot machines and other gaming devices. The company provided mechanized shufflers for World Series of Poker final tables in 2011.

“Given the growing popularity of online gaming in Canada, offering our popular brands to this key market through OpenBet’s platform is a natural next step for Shuffle Master and part of our strategy to leverage our intellectual property online,” said Gavin Isaacs, CEO of Shuffle Master. “This agreement provides us with an exciting distribution channel for our specialty games and is further affirmation of our belief that this will be an important segment for our Company. We are very pleased that we are going to be working with OpenBet.”

Earlier this year, Shuffle Master entered into a licensing agreement with Cantor Gaming. In September, the company reported record quarterly profits.
