Day six is a wrap at the inaugural Native American Casino Poker Tour Choctaw series, and with that we are only days away from the NACPT $1,000 main event, with day one kicking off on Saturday Dec. 10th.
To qualify players for the main event, super satellites will be running all Friday and mega satellites on Saturday morning. Each day during the preliminary events, $1,800 has been awarded in the form of vouchers for the satellites, which will guarantee that the satellites will be a great value and qualify plenty of players for the NACPT $1,000 main event.
In the meantime, three events came to a conclusion today, and here are the results:
Event 11 — $200 No-Limit Hold’em
Lynn Sample of Bedford, Texas won her second tournament of the week when she took down event 11 today, earning $2,655 for her victory. This past weekend Sample came out on top of the $350 Ladies International Poker Tour event here at Choctaw. After her win over the weekend, Sample continued to play events, and followed up that win by topping event 11’s 47 player field today. “It’s felt really good to win two events and cash in a few more. I was going to go home tomorrow, but I think I will show up and play the noon event again tomorrow. If I can go back to back, I will stay and play the main event.”
