Regulated online poker was officially launced in Denmark today as bwin.party partnered with the state-run casino operator Danske Spil.

Analyst Daniel Stewart & Co, was positive about the deal for bwin.party, saying “Danske Spil has a significant presence due to its brand recognition and monopoly status with Danish players, and boasts >600,000 registered online users, so this should make for a robust market for BPTY as a result.”
