WSOP Main Event Continues to Race AlongSix Players to Go Before Day Ends |
|
The World Series of Poker main event is burning rubber.
Originally, today the day was supposed to end at 75 players, with tomorrow ending with 27. As of around 3 p.m. on Monday, there only 34 were players left. The day will end with 27 players, and tomorrow, play will go until the final table of nine is established.
If they get down to nine tomorrow, players will have a day off Wednesday. But with two bubbles taking place from 27 to nine (all players in the top 12 receive $1 million and all players who make the final nine get on TV), plus each place from 20 to nine seeing a significant pay increase, tomorrow should slow down significantly.Maybe.
