World Series of Poker Online: Zinno, Engel, and Yaginuma Add To Their Bracelet Collections

A Look At The Most Notable Wins Down The Stretch of the 2024 WSOPO Domestic Series

The 2024 World Series of Poker Online domestic series for players based in Nevada, New Jersey, and Michigan wrapped up last week. The 33-event festival saw several big names emerge victorious, including Kristen Foxen winning her record-extending fifth bracelet while her husband Alex Foxen earned his second. Author-turned-player Maria Konnikova also secured her first bracelet earlier on in this series. Several more notables came out on top during the final stretch of the schedule, including several who already had multiple bracelets to their name.

2024 WSOP Online $666 No-Limit Hold’em Spooky Monsterstack

Jesse YaginumaJesse Yaginuma triumphed in the $666 no-limit hold’em spooky monsterstack event held on Halloween night, earning $59,396 and his third career gold bracelet for the win.

All three of Yaginuma’s bracelets have now been earned online. He first broke through in a $400 buy-in back in 2022. He backed that up by closing out the $1,500 online six-max no-limit hold’em event last year. He now has nearly $3.4 million in recorded tournament earnings to his name.

Several other notables joined Yaginuma at the final table in this event, including recent WSOPO bracelet winner Brandon Zuidema (4th), 2024 WSOP $100,000 buy-in champion Chris Hunichen (3rd), and 2024 WSOP $1,500 no-limit deuce-to-seven single draw lowball champion David Funkhouser (2nd).

While the full real-name results and payouts have been released, the prize pool for this tournament has not yet been posted.

2024 WSOP Online $400 No-Limit Hold’em Turbo

Ari EngelAri Engel, the all-time leader in WSOP Circuit titles with 17 gold rings, came into the $400 no-limit hold’em turbo tournament with three WSOP bracelets to his name.

Engel speeded his way through a 500-entry field to earn his fourth bracelet and the top prize of $34,200. Engel’s bracelets are now evenly split between the live and online realms. He took down a $2,500 buy-in live no-limit hold’em event back in 2019 for his maiden win at the series. Two years after that he scooped the last pot in the $10,000 buy-in Omaha eight-or-better championship for his second bracelet. His prior online win saw him triumph in a $500 six-max no-limit hold’em event during last year’s WSOPO in the fall.

This latest win grew Engel’s recorded tournament earnings to more than $9.2 million. Three-time bracelet winner Shankar Pillai (9th), two-time bracelet winner and recent WPT Playground champion Michael Wang (7th), bracelet winner Millard Hale (6th), and bracelet winner Arkadiy Tsinis (5th) all ran deep alongside Engel.

2024 WSOP Online $500 No-Limit Hold’em Fall Saver

Anthony ZinnoThe final bracelet event of this series drew 572 entries at $500 a piece, but only one would walk away with the hardware. That ended up being three-time World Poker Tour champion Anthony Zinno, who earned $48,649 and his fifth career bracelet. Zinno became just the 43rd player in poker history to have won five or more bracelets.

Zinno grew his lifetime tournament earnings to over $12.4 million thanks to this win. The largest score of his career remains the $1.1 million he earned as the champion of the 2015 WSOP $25,000 pot-limit Omaha event. Four years after that he locked up his second with a win in a $1,500 pot-limit Omaha eight-or-better event. His third and fourth wins at the series both came in 2021, when he took down the $10,000 stud championship and the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E.

This event had plenty of big names still in when the final table was set, including two-time bracelet winner Eric Baldwin (9th), bracelet winner Robert Kuhn (4th), three-time bracelet winner Ryan Eriquezzo (3rd), and three=time bracelet winner Tony Dunst (2nd).
