PartyPoker today announced the fifth renewal of the $125,000 buy in Premier League which will take place, and be filmed for TV, at the World Poker Tour Vienna from April 4 to 10.
Already confirmed invitees for the $200,000 added event include Andy Frankenberger, Sam Trickett, Vanessa Selbst, Tony G, and Luke ‘FullFlush’ Schwartz.
Sixteen players in total will compete in two groups of eight for $2,000 per point with the top three in each group going through to the final.
Premier League IV was won by David Benyamine.
The company also announced the marathon 48-hour cash game, Big Game VI, will be filmed in Vienna as well. Last time out David “Viffer” Peat ended up the big winner.
Head of events at Montesino Casino in the Austrian capital, Leon Groenewoud, said, “We welcome the introduction of the televised WPT Premier League V and PartyPoker.com Big Game VI to the schedule. Coupled with WPT Vienna, these events will make Austria the hot bed of poker action during the first half of April.”
