Sarah and Jordan are Hustler Casino’s grand prize winners of the 2012 Valentine’s Day Team Tournament.
Hustler Casino innovated a totally different type of team tournament.
With a total of 36 teams, all 72 players started as individuals. Their team members were not allowed to play at the same table.
After the first two hours of the tournament, team members combined their chip stacks. For example; Sarah had 15,000 chips and Jordan had 10,000 chips. They then played with a combined 25,000 chips after the initial break.
After the break, team play then began with each team member alternating playing for 20 minutes. The other innovative twist to this tournament was at the final table. While playing the final table, anytime a team was looking at an all in situation, they were allowed to confer to call or fold.
There was plenty of excitement during this event and players show great enthusiasm and interest in participating in another team tournament at Hustler Casino.
The next team tournament will be held as a part of the Liz Flynt Spring Poker Classic coming April 5-26.
