The Associated Press reported Tuesday that Ryan Lang, one of the individuals named in the April 2011 indictment of the major offshore poker sites, has pleaded guilty in federal court.
He reportedly apologized for the crimes. He faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.
The Department of Justice accused Lang of obtaining accounts at U. S. banks for the poker sites, lying about the nature of the financial transactions, and covering up the lies by creating “phony” corporations and websites.
