Chiligaming Migrates Players to Poker770 To Focus On U.S.

Online poker rooms Chilipoker.com and Poker770 merge today with the latter taking over the former’s player base.

Alexandre Dreyfus, chief executive officer of Chiligaming which owns Chilipoker said, “Following the exciting news about Chiligaming joining forces with the public listed company Bally Technologies, the company will now be refocusing its energies mainly in US and regulated markets.”

“From the 01.03.12, Chilipoker.com will automatically update the Chilipoker software to Poker770 completing the migration to the new platform.”

Chilipoker.fr, the company’s French online poker site, is not affected by the merger and will continue to operate as normal.

Just over one week ago Bally Technologies, the U.S casino and gaming designer and manugacturing group, bought Chiligaming’s iGaming platform which is an an open architecture, business-to-business solution for online poker, bingo, casino, and sports betting.

Bally has applied for a license to offer legal poker gaming in Nevada.
