Welshman Ceri Rees was crowned champion of the recent Dusk Till Dawn £500 Deepstack, which this month meant for an extra chunky payday of £86,206 as the event was supersized with £100,000 added, creating a total guarantee of £250,000.
Rees topped a field of 643, including re-entries, to take the largest share of the £321,500 prize pool, above and beyond the guarantee. He beat Englishman Tommy Bingham heads up for the glory, sending him to the rail with £50,398.
As from Mar. 1, 2012, tournaments where the prize pool is guaranteed by Dusk Till Dawn are subject to a “no deals policy”.
