Huge Strip Poker Game Takes Place on SaturdayPaddyPowerPoker.com Is Going for World Record |

On Saturday, August 19, up to 200 poker players will descend upon Café Royal in London and try to break the world's record for the largest strip poker game ever. The game is sponsored by Irish poker site PaddyPowerPoker.com, and is an offshoot of an April Fool's Day press release that too many people took seriously.
The winner of the tournament will receive £10,000, but if the winner decides to donate the winnings to charity, Paddy Power will double the prize. The winner will also receive entry into the 2007 Paddy Power Irish Poker Open.
The stunt will try to break the Guinness World Record for largest strip poker game. Registration for the event was free, and Paddy Power plans for the whole affair to turn into one big party.
Each contestant starts short-stacked, wearing only five pieces of clothing provided by Paddy Poker. The game being played is Texas hold'em.
