Ladbrokes Plc, Britain’s biggest bookmaker, yesterday issued its interim statement for the first three months of 2012 with poker revenue taking another massive nosedive.

Net poker revenue fell by 26.8 percent. The company did not give an amount for current poker revenue.

Overall group revenue at Ladbrokes showed some improvement, up 8.9 percent while operating profit was 3.9 percent higher at £50.4 million.

The company, which has seen its poker offering wither in the last few years including a one-quarter decline in 2011, said it was continuing to explore opportunities to improve the performance of its poker business.
