The Microgaming poker network has launched Blaze Poker a Rush Poker-style cash game where players join a “pool” of competing players and are dealt another hand immediately upon folding ensuring constant action allowing for up to 300 hands per hour.

Ladbrokes was the first company on the network to launch the game in beta-test mode yesterday. Stan James is expected to adopt the new game soon.

Blaze Poker joins PokerStars Zoom Poker and Relax Gaming’s Fast Poker which came in the wake of the demise of Full Tilt’s Rush Poker.

Head of network games at Microgaming, Lydia Melton, said, “Although a few fast poker products have popped up on the market in recent months, from an operator perspective, Blaze Poker sets itself apart with its seamless integration.

“Blaze Poker will run directly in the MPN client software, creating a user experience that is second to none.”
