888 To Settle With Spanish Tax AuthoritiesReport Says Company Will Pay Less Than $10 Million |

888 will pay the Spanish tax man under $10 million in back taxes according to a Reuters report quoting a source close to the company.
The move follows similar payments from bwin.party, Sportingbet and Betfair all of whom expect to receive a gaming licence in the country on June 1.
The report suggests 888 has around six percent of its business in Spain and will announce the tax settlement soon which comes in at the lower end of brokers estimates which went as high as $20 million.
