Since the demise of Full Tilt Poker poker pro sponsorship has taken a nose dive but one team is bucking the trend at this year’s World Series of Poker.
Online betting exchange Matchbook.com has announced details of its team of pros which will join Sam Trickett in Las Vegas this summer.
Trickett tweeted a couple of weeks back that he would wear a Matchbook patch during the $1 million buy in Big Drop for One Drop charity tournament.
Now, nine other players have been added to the roster including U.S. online specialist Dan “Jungleman” Cates, two-time bracelet winner and yesterday’s final tablist JP Kelly, European Poker Tour winner Roberto Romanello, bracelet winner Matt Perrins, WSOP final tablist James Akenhead, last year’s final table bubble boy John Hewitt as well as up and coming stars Martins Adeniya, Ben Vinson and Jared Solomon.
