The fastest final table of the summer thus far took place on Wednesday when Vincent Van der Fluit made quick work of his opponents in event no. 11, the $1,500 pot-limit Omaha tournament.
Van der Fluit topped an international final table represented by five different countries in just over four hours of play. For the victory, the Dutchman picked up $265,211, the coveted gold bracelet and 912 Card Player Player of the Year points. He now sits in 44th place overall.
This was by far the biggest score of Van der Fluit’s young career, though he did have two preliminary event wins at the Aussie Millions and at EPT Berlin. His career live tournament earnings now stand at just over $383,000.
Other notables at the final table included Calvin Anderson, Alex Dovzhenko, Tristan Wade and eventual runner up Charles Tonne.
