Nottingham’s Dusk Till Dawn poker club is hoping to attract 2,000 players to the July Grand Prix to meet its €200,000 guarantee and break its current record for Europe’s largest poker tournament.

In April, 1,625 players passed through the club’s doors for the UK & Ireland Poker Tour, which was won by Robert Baguley.

The €100 buy in no-limit hold’em tournament is already underway and will feature seven starting days (beginning at 3 p.m. daily). For the first time since the Grand Prix’ launch, direct buy-ins will be accepted at the club in order to make the event more accessible and hit the 2,000.

Players sit down to a 15,000 starting stack and blinds of 30 minutes on day 1 and 40 minutes on day 2 and 3. An estimated 15 levels will be played per day.

The event kicked off on Jul. 21 and the final table will take place on Sunday, Jul. 29 at 3 p.m..
