The action starts off fast and furious with the Sprint Challenge. Players can begin earning VIP Points on Wednesday August 1 for a series of four EMOP Barcelona freerolls worth €2,000 each.

Elsewhere on the track the 400 Metre Hurdles will reward players who win four consecutive six-seat turbo sit ‘n’ go (SNG) tournaments at the same stake level in a row with a new iPad while the Marathon – taking place on August 9, 16, 23, and 30 at 19:00 CET – will award a MacBook Air to the winner and cash prizes to the others in the top 10.

This unique event needs just 20 VIP Points to enter, is limited to 1,000 players and finishes after exactly 2 hours whith prizes awarded according to a player’s chip stack at that point.

On the field it’s the High Jump and Triple Jump that’ll keep players on their toes. Any player who hits a royal flush in any Texas hold’em cash game wins €100 while any player who gets dealt a pocket pair three times in a row at the same Texas hold’em cash game table wins €300.

Head of poker at BetVictor, Andy Horne, said, “Like poker, qualifying for and competing at the Olympics takes a lot of commitment, skill and a little bit of luck. The Poker Olympics rewards our own poker athletes with lots of opportunities to finish number one on the podium and take down gold for being the best. Good luck to all Olympians, whether on the track, field, or felt this summer!”
