PartyPoker Beta Tests Fast Forward PokerNew Speed Poker Variant To Be Released At PartyPoker.com |
|
PartyPoker.com has announced the release of the beta version of its very own speed poker format called FastForward. This comes after bwin.party partly blamed PokerStars’ Zoom Poker in its trading update for the poor performance of its online poker product.
The new turbo poker format can be found in the client lobby at the ‘FastForward’ tab and can be played at all no-limit hold’em cash tables at the site, even heads up.
If a player doesn’t like his/her cards, they can just press fast forward, without having to wait for their turn, and be dealt into a new hand with different players. By the time the cards are folded, the player will be long gone.
If the player wants to stay to see what happens in a hand however, they have the choice to click ‘Watch on Fold’ and wait for the outcome.
The online poker site disabled its high stakes cash games in July, in order to “improve the action” at its tables and its overall poker ecology.
