Players flooded Twitter this week with good luck wishes for Marvin Rettenmaier and now are filing in with congratulations to the well-liked pro on his astounding success of winning back-to-back World Poker Tour events.

Kara Scott is one of many who showed their support, she said, "Congratulations to @MadMarvin for shipping back to back @wpt events!! You’re such a beast. #PartyPoker "

Rettenmaier tweeted, "Still can’t believe I’ve won Back-to-Back @WorldPokerTour Titles!!! U MAD!?!?!´Thanks for all the support everyone!!! @PartyPoker "

He previously wrote, “Won’t be able to play 1a of @WorldPokerTour Parx now which obviously drastically reduces my chances for BackToBackToBack Final Tables! FML!”

In other news, tweets have also been pouring in for the legend of poker himself, Doyle Brunson who is celebrating his birthday, as it seems are many poker players the past few days. Maria Ho tweeted, “Happy happy birthday Doyle! You always brighten up my day when I see you and here’s to many many more for a fine wine like you! :)”

While Kara Scott was busy being happy for her friends, she tweeted, “Happy birthday @TexDolly! Here’s hoping you have a great one :)”

In response Brunson replied, “Thanks…right back at you!! (I think it is tomorrow for you)” Ben Wilinofsky then wrote, “Happy birthday to both of you!”

When Brunson wrote, “Tx for all the birthday wishes. Best present..Giant coffe cup that says …”All The Coffee In The World Will Not Make Me A Morning Person", Jennifer Leigh responded, “yes! Happy Birthday to us!!! :)” Yet another August poker birthday celebration to be had.
