|
The first Asian Poker Tour Asian Series event held outside of Asia has been won by Bruno Tadebois. The Mauritian bested a field of 114 from 11 countries to take the trophy, the title, and €22,840 in his home land.
The final table was a mix bag with players from Mauritius, Seychelles, Reunion Island, and France. The chip lead was all over the place but after seven hours the two players left standing were Danny Cho and Bruno Tadebois, both representing Mauritius and both with an equal amount of chips.
With the blinds at 25,000-50,000 and an ante of 5,000 for level 28, it all came to an end. Cho made it 100,000 preflop and Tadebois insta-shoved. After a little time in the tank Cho made the call and the two revealed their cards. Tadebois held A K while Cho felted Q J. The board came down 10 7 4 8 10 sending Cho home in second place with €13,400 for his efforts.
