The season 5 finale of the Partouche Poker Tour starts this Sunday, Sept. 2, and runs for seven days at the Palm Beach Casino in Cannes, France.
Sunday acts as overture to the main event with some satellites heating up the action. The centerpiece, the €8,500 no-limit hold’em main event, then kicks off on Monday, Sept. 3 at 1 pm. (local time).
There will be two starting days and players will sit down to a 30,000 chip stack and 90-minute blind levels. The re-entry event, will find its new champion on Sept. 9.
There have been some changes to the final’s schedule including re-entry to day 1B of the main event, and the addition of five side events more than last season such as two pot-limit Omaha events, and a €25,000 High Roller tournament.
The no-limit hold’em High Roller runs from Sept. 7 to Sept. 9, meaning the final day of the festival will see two major, televised, final tables play out.
Last year, Sam Trickett took down the main event for a €1,000,000 first-place prize.
