On Sunday, Oct. 14, PaddyPowerPoker.com is holding a €180 + €12 buy-in no-limit hold’em Irish Winter Festival Mega Satellite at 8 p.m. with 20 main event packages worth €1,800 each on the line.
Packages include four nights stay at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, €329 for travel expenses, and most importantly, the €1,125 buy-in for the Irish Winter Festival (IWF) main event, which runs from Oct. 26-29.
Those who win their IWF seat via the site will automatically qualify for the Six Survivor promotion which will see the six longest lasting qualifiers in the live event win a ticket into the Irish Open 2013 main event, on top of any prize money won.
Starting this Sunday, there are many daily sit ‘n’ go turbo games and feeder satellites for the IWF Mega Satellite. At 11 a.m., 2:45 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 10:45 p.m. daily there is a €18 + €1.80 no-limit hold’em tournament (rebuy/add-on) with one seat up for grabs per every €192 collected.
The same applies for the €35 + €3 buy-in no-limit hold’em freezeout taking place at 1 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 9:15 p.m. each day, and the €13 + €1.30 buy-in no-limit hold’em freezeout at midnight each night.
There are three types of no-limit hold’em turbo sit ‘n’ go satellites available; a €48 + €4.80 buy-in (five players), a €19.20 + €1.90 buy-in (10 players), and a €96 + €4.80 (heads up). All feature the first-place prize of a seat in the IWF Mega Satellite. The 10-handed sit ‘n’ go also has a €48 second-place prize.
Players can qualify for the main event via three weekly super satellites also. These take place at 8 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays. Alternatively, players can buy in to the main event directly at the PaddyPowerPoker.com VIP store.
